At Operation Rescue Ethiopia, we believe that education is the most powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty and unlock a bright future for every child. We are incredibly proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our top ten academic performers for the 2016 Ethiopian Calendar (2024 Gregorian Calendar) school year. These hard-working students have demonstrated remarkable resilience, dedication, and perseverance, proving that determination can overcome any obstacle.
During the award ceremony, ORE Director Getachew T. delivered an inspiring message to the youth: "There are two ways to make poverty history: 1, learning very well, and 2, having good skills. Operation Rescue is on your side to make these two things real in your lives. Your current difficulties are easy when you become strong and study hard."
