Updates from our branches in Ethiopia
On the occasion of the holiday, 50kg of teff was donated to the children in our organisation and their families.
Thelma and Merville arrived home safely after a tremendous week in Tigray, meeting the dedicated team of staff across all four centres.
In February we began to raise funds to do a special support to all ORE families. The funds are being distributed today in Mekelle.
Shannon and Merville travelled to ORE Mekelle to meet the team and encourage their work after travel restrictions were lifted.
The feeding programme is up and running again in Mekelle. The kids are coming in for a meal at lunch time each day.
We are so pleased to learn that funds have arrived with Getachew in Mekelle. Food is being purchased for our brothers and sisters in Tigray.
Praise God for answered prayer. After more than two years, children of ORE Mekelle celebrated Ethiopian Easter and returned to school.
The flour has been purchased and we have raised £10,000 of our targeted £15,000. An incredible effort in Covid times.
